THE RIDICULOUS OVERDRAFT FEES OF WASHINGTON MUTUAL
September 13, 2007
I recently paid another $90 in overdraft fees to Washington Mutual.
Yes, they charge you $30!!! for each overdraft.
How did I let them get to me again?
Simple. Google. Ebay. PayPal. GoDaddy. It’s called ‘automatic withdrawal’. Washington Mutual instead of being gracious, decides to stiff the consumer with HIGH OVER DRAFT FEES OF $30 each.
As if the OIL COMPANIES couldn’t rape us enough.
THEY ALL WANT YOUR MONEY.
CAN WE PLEASE ELECT A PRESIDENT OF THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE? CAN WE KICK EVERY CONGRESSMAN OUT OF CONGRESS AND TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY?
Try beating this for customer service:
1) I open a new account at Washington Mutual; the account rep has me wait 45 minutes to open the account;
2) She then forgets to open an online banking profile
3) I speak to no less than 7 call center reps at WAMU who can’t help;
4) One of the reps ‘accidentally’ deletes my two other accounts I have had at Washington Mutual
5) The supervisor tells me not to ever use a vulgar word again (even though I did not use any vulgar words)
6) The online call rep finally tells me they will have to delete all of my accounts as they don’t know what else to do;
7) The customer satisfaction phone poll repeats over and over that it doesn’t understand the digits I’ve entered into the phone;
ANOTHER STUPENDOUS, IDIOTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE DAY AT WASHINGTON MUTUAL BANK.
MY SUGGESTION? Try Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase, California – ANY BANK BUT WASHINGTON MUTUAL.
